Become a California Vocational Nurse

Fast-track training for vocational nursing, in Canyon Country, CA can be completed in just 14 months at Charter College. The Canyon Country campus is located at 27125 Sierra Hwy, Suite 329.  In this vocational nursing program, students learn in a modern lab and are taught by working professional nurses. Within six weeks of beginning the program, vocational nursing students are learning in the clinic setting, providing care to patients.

Students from Canyon Country and Santa Clarita, as well as nearby Valencia, Palmdale, Sylmar, Saugus, and Newhall are able to complete their training in just over a year with the accelerated curriculum at Charter College. Students are able to get their vocational nursing degrees, take the licensing exam (NCLEX), and get out in the workforce sooner than many other vocational nursing programs.

Certification

In California, you must pass the NCLEX-PN Licensing Exam to be licensed and work as a Licensed Vocational Nurse.

The Charter College Vocational Nursing program prepares vocational nursing students to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Practical/Vocational Nurses (NCLEX-PN Exam).
